INFO —
The Hybrid Theory exhibition draws its inspiration from the innovative art methodologies of Casey Reas. Reas's approach involves the use of software to create art through mathematical theories, coding to generate artificial life, and manipulating basic geometric shapes in diverse ways.
For this project, I adopted Casey’s methodologies, integrating both analog and digital techniques to bring this exhibition to life. My process began with traditional sketching on paper, following Reas's methods and experimenting with various lighting conditions.
In the realm of art, software represents the digital medium while hardware stands for the analog. By merging these two in a distinctive manner, one becomes both the creator and the subject of their own design. This fusion of analog and digital not only pays homage to Reas's techniques but also pushes the boundaries of traditional and contemporary art forms.
